Concept Site

For my portfolio website, I not only want it to show off my previous work / CV, but also want it to perform some sort of function in my life. I want to sort out and display which projects I'm currently working on as well.

I think giving the option to see all the process work involved in each project will offer a more complete perspective of my designs to potential employers, as well as it allows me a new means of keeping track of how can apply previous work to current projects.

In terms of layout, I've been playing around with the idea of floating objects. A fluid-like display maybe? I also like the concept of brining 3D into the picture. I'm also thinking about how Microsoft Surface is taking the manipulation of data to a new level.

The date for putting the shovel into the ground on this new site is February 1st. Until then I am trying to learn everything I can to make conceptualizations into reality.

On The Move

I need to focus on a few specifics to get done what I want to with quickly arriving deadlines. I have two central goals:
  1. Achieve A's on All Assignments
  2. Get A Job / Internship At A Tech / Media Company
In order to get to this level, maintenance of my schedule is of utmost importance.

When it comes to getting the job, I need to focus on my skills and on my portfolio. Both need to built up within the next month.
